Microcurrent Technology
I use two microcurrent devices in my practice, the Tenant Biomodulator and the original Russian SCENAR system. Research done in Russia demonstrated that disease conditions were linked to interruptions in the flow of energy from the brain to the rest of the body. These microcurrent systems use electrical energy to identify these areas of interruption and restore the flow of self regulating energy from the brain to the rest of the body.
Microcurrent devices use a small energized contact surface to detect reversals in the electrical polarity on the skin. When the device finds such an area it literally "sticks" thereby identifying the location where an energetic "sink hole" has developed. Once identified the microcurrent system treats these areas and the flow of energy is restored. Different settings treat acute and chronic conditions.
Treatment with microcurrent can release neuromuscular restrictions and actually change the alignment of body tissues.
The Biomodulator is recognized by the FDA as a transcutaneous
electrical nerve stimulator for pain relief, and a neurological biofeedback
device for relaxation training and muscle reeducation. Microcurrent is excellent for releasing tension and stiffness in shoulders and back muscles. It produces an immediate decrease in pain apparently by stimulating the release of endorphins and clients frequently notice an improvement in range of motion. Repeated use creates stronger, more resilient muscles and can stimulate under active organ systems within the body.
